Shipment

Dear visitor,

For shipping your order we use Tnt (TNT-post). We choose the most favourable possible/advantageous shipping form, but you can make your choice when choosing the shipping form. Making no choice can lead to delays if a package eg. doesn't fit into the mailbox while you choose the mailbox post!

The various options (Note: rates below are mostly shipping rates within the Netherlands; current rates for shipping to foreign countries/outdoor the Netherlands, can be found on www.postnl.nl/tarieven):

Shipping as regular mail (mailbox): the maximum sizes than 35x25x3 cm; max. weight is 2 kg.
Please note that dangerous substances or vulnerable onces cannot be sent by mailbox and chemicals are not allowed to be sent by mailbox to avoid health risks for eg. delivery personnel.

Note: the rates within NL are adjusted by PostNL om 1-1-2014 and 1-8-2014L. For current actual prices see link above.

Shipping as package;
Maximum sizes: 95x45x45; max. weight is 10 kg, 20 kg or 30 kg.
The rate outside the Netherlands is: up to 2 kg (without TR & TR) 9,00 euro, up to 5 kg 19.50, up to 10 kg 25.00, etc.

When shipping Glass there is reduced glass breakage insurance, since glass cann't be insured.
However: If you receive a damaged package, please let the delivery person give you a signed damage confirmation issuance, so that later damage can be re-claimed at TNT. If the delivery person refuses this, then you are advised to refuse the package and return it (unless you consider the risk of injury acceptable to yourself).

When ordering the program automatically chooses a shipping rate that suits the weight (packing materials taken into account).

Shipping as SURE (insured) package;
Maximum sizes: 99x45x45; max. weight is 30 kg.
Also on dispatch of SURE package applies reduced insurance in case of glass breakage.
The surcharge for sure (registered mail, insured up to 500,-) is € 1.65: also at SURE shipping applies an increased insurance and risk cover.
Again However: If you receive a damaged package, please let the delivery person give you a signed damage confirmation issuance, so that later damage can be re-claimed at TNT. If the delivery person refuses this, then you are advised to refuse the package and return it (unless you consider the risk of injury acceptable to yourself)..

If the weight of your order goes out above 30 kg, the order will be automaticcaly divided over several packages.

When is shipped....
Normally within 2 to 3 business days after receiving your payment. In the weekend of course not shipment can be performed and we are closed on Mondays. besides exceptions (as "urgents"), Monday is not a working day.
Often however (more than 95% of all orders) shippement is performed the same or next day. However, if materials must be retrieved from the wholesaler first, then previously mentioned delivery time changes. In case of custom will be notified. CUSTOMIZED articles: (items that cannot be ready-to-use purchased and must be manually manufactured, like Pre-cut shapes or labour-intensive Frit or graph), can lead to longer delivery time. You will then be informed

Own risk.....
When selected for parcel shipping in NL. we work with Track & Trace. Because the package can be followed ther is no question of loos and there that gets rid of problems. The package is always traceble to figure out where it's residing. Choosing for sure package means that the package is additional insured (glass breakage can be not insured) and needs to be signed on delivery. However there can be chosen (weights under 2 kg) for shipment without Track&Trace. In this case, the whereabouts cann't be figure out, which means increased own risk as with regular mail (see below).

Regular mail
While many customers choose this much cheaper form of delivery of their order and it never caused problems, the order cann't be followed. There can be no guarantee issued by us.
Also liability damage or loss can't be insured; therefore the choice of this shipping method and possible consequences are at your own risk.
However, it's an important economic shipping method, and we don't want to limit our clients, because there is a much used method. Would you exclude your own risk however, opt for registered mail. In this case, you must sign a receipt and there is no risk.

Damage to mail box orders - however well rapped in - can never be totally avoided ror wholly excluded. The order is transported in a mailbag with sometimes as many as 50 kg other post on top of it. In addition, post bags lie on top of each other during transport, so the pressure of more than 100 kg can arise. We cann't therefore accept any liability for damage in regular mailbox orders, when you choose this form of shipping with fragile articles.
